I am a young changemaker, because I have seen the opportunity to make a difference in my community and have take it and make a project with some friends to eliminate a problem and create a solution. My community project consist on taking all the didactic material use through the year by private school children and teachers, which is usually thrown away or is never used again, and classify it so that it can be given to children or donated to schools who lack the economical resources to obtain books, interactive educational material etc. and with this we help make education less of a privilege, making this people education of a higher quality, as an attempt to make boundary between public and private education smaller in my country, because I believe education should not be a privilege, that keeping it like that is a way of discrimination and helps to segregate the population that is economically down in the social classes pyramid. I know, and people who work in the project know is not much, but with little steps we can change the community and possibly the world. I want to join this community of leaders to help me grow as a person, as a leader, because I want to meet people who have similar goals in their communities, people who understand their privileges, value them ,but also try to bring this privilege to people who does not have them, young people who see the opportunity to make a positive difference in where they live or somewhere else and they do not think twice before doing it, I want to join this community, because I think youth should be together for this generation to make a change, because without doubt this generation is making an impact, but the closest we are, and the less selfish we are as a generation the strongest we would grow and the impact would be greater. And as a person I strongly believe being less selfish with information that we know would help other people grow, would help ourselves grow.
