How I want to make an Impact

Firstly, I making an impact by carrying out an assessment of community issues using methods like the community scorecards, in a bid to form informed interventions that are as relevant as they can be sustainable.

Secondly, I will harness the full extent of my youth networks to create a core working team that will volunteer with me in carrying out initiatives and projects.

Thirdly, I will ensure that relevant stakeholders are involved in my processes. That way, they can own these initiatives and ensure it is scaled and sustained.

Summarily, I believe that youth, though be a fragmented percentage of the global population today, are a hundred percent of the world's future. To that effect, they will be at the core of and targets, and I will use the tools of the century to meet them where they are. Both traditional and social media.

Short biography

David is a youth, social and international development professional, bridging the gaps in education, technology, health, gender and empowerment sectors, through teaching, research, and initiatives that positively influence society. David engages stakeholders to formulate, review and create strategies and policies that increases the participation of young people, women, girls and marginalized and vulnerable communities. As an active emerging leader within the field of international humanitarian cooperation and developing strong networks among countries with various organizations that promotes and helps in strengthening friendship and cooperation. His work in multilateral cooperation projects has assisted in strengthening the international ties between nations in addition to the creation of several projects in the field of humanitarian cooperation, youth development, and best practices for sustainable development.
He believes in the power of youth, and its potential to transform communities and the world.
He believes that the platform accorded by YouthLead will be, not just a springboard, but also the wings he needs to learn global best practices and initiatives to impact my local community with the investment on/of my personal and professional life.
YouthLead is an avenue to network, collaborate and form alliances with institutional partners and peers around the world which will scale up initiatives, replicate and domesticate it.
