I want to make an impact using my medical expertise, talents and passion for service to others. I believe that I am a valuable resource to others if I am willing to utilize my skills and resources to improve the lives of others. I want to ensure that when I make an impact in a community I involve them in the process to ensure that I empower them with the knowledge and networks they need to then take ownership of the work, scale it up and become self sufficient and even pay it forward and help others.
I do this by providing access to health information to health information and services. Good health is key in ensuring people are productive and contribute to development. I am working in digital health innovation: i.e. using various forms of technology to improve health service delivery. I also generate health promotion messages that are interactive, contextualized to target audiences, fun, and easy to understand which are delivered using various platforms including multimedia and social media platforms.
I have established a non-profit called Health Access Initiative that works uses technology to improve access to health information and services.

Zayithwa is a published health writer and is a content creator for the health and wellbeing content of the African Changemakers Magazine. She is a Youth Lead Ambassador/Peer Advisor who empowers and mentors youth across the board.
