I am senyonjo Hebert, a young changemaker, an entrepreneur and environmentalist. I am committed and passionate about changing lives and saving the environment. I promote peace through youth empowerment, have developed community partnerships for development, improve maternal and child health, promote education and empowers women, combats HIV/AIDS through lead advocacy for improved services. I have implemented an adolescent and young girls HIV/AIDS advocacy campaign that was aimed at providing vulnerable young girls in HIV/AIDS hot spots of Nakawa division of Kampala District to understand their rights and responsibilities, vice out their concerns and inspire their peers. I have carried out various dialogues in schools and in communities with young mothers. In liaison with the community development officers of different town councils, we discussed and listened to the young women and adolescents on numerous health is which results in early marriages, early pregnancies in schools, and joining bad peer groups for the sake of holiday makers among others. I also stressed the need to text for HIV/AIDS so that they can know their status for better prevention of disease. Such outreaches have helped me in providing more awareness to the most at risk segment of communities. I want join the YOUTHLEAD, because I to be productively utilized and contribute to the fulfillment of the YOUTHLEAD daily transactions. To became acquainted with global issues expanding my knowledge about issues that hinder youth and children development. I want to strengthen local communities engagement and community coherence. I want bring local understanding and service expertise together in developing responses to local issues. I want to provide the basis for increased accountability of service providers to local communities and to allow a local input to the youth overview and scrutiny arrangements.
