How I want to make an Impact

I am passionate about empowering African youth & communities in fighting poverty and economic hardship in Nigeria & African continent through Knowledge, skill sharing and capacity development mechanisms as tools for improving Africa’s human capital development. According to the Goal Keeper report, by 2050, 86 percent of the world’s extreme poor will live in sub-Saharan Africa, with more than 40 percent living in just two countries: Democratic Republic of the Congo and Nigeria. It has however become more important that Africa chart a new course for development by investing in its young and fast growing population.

As a young leader passionate about development of Africa, I am motivated by the saying of Tony Elumelu that “the solution to Africa’s problems lays in the innovative, transformative and disruptive hands of Africans”.

As part of my contribution in promoting entrepreneurship among young entrepreneurs over the past five years, I volunteered my experience, time and resources in working with undergraduates, graduates and budding/ enthusiastic entrepreneurs in empowering them with skill and developing work, business and technical capacity through knowledge, skill sharing and volunteering most especially in the areas of setting up and running small businesses; and skill acquisition.

I am interested in creating a platform for providing necessary support for societal growth in Nigeria and the world at large.
