I envision a Peaceful World of empowered individuals and sustainable societies. I plan to do this through capacity building, ground action and advocacy. So I am working with young people, children and teachers with values like Non-violence, Inclusiveness, Reflective leadership and Empathy with an aim of empowering them through theoretical and experiential learning modules. To making the environment enabling for young people's contribution, I am also building the capacity of religious actors, UN agencies, governments and youth-led organisations to work with and for youth for peacebuilding. As ground action, we are working to provide humanitarian support for rohingya refugees and we do advocacy with all the global and regional networks that I have mentioned previously.
Along with being Global Focal Point of Humanitarian Affairs at UN Major Group on Children and Youth (MGCY), Asia Coordinator at UNOY Peacebuilders and chief advisor at Youth for Peace International, I co-chair the Thematic Working Group on YPS of UN Asia Pacific Interagency Network on Youth (APINY). Previously, I have supported YourCommonwealth.Org, Commonwealth Youth Peace Ambassador Network, Callisto Art & Culture, Commonwealth Youth Council, Commonwealth Youth Climate Change Network, Bold International, SPIC MACAY, Rotary International, Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (Govt of India) & I Have A Vision Africa.
I feel YouthLead a great platform in making to have a greater impact of my work by providing me with the opportunity to network, mentor, share opportunity and learn maybe. Thus I want to join it.
