As a nurse researcher, health-caring equity advocate, nurse leader and founder/convener of NARSKWELA (Nurse Advocates Reaching School-Kids Who arE Living in GIDAs, I passionate commit myself to lead and create innovate steps to holistically address inequities in all shapes that are radically happening in the health-caring dynamism, hitherto superficially understood. In fact, some of my works either researches or community-empowerment movement were presented internationally and abroad or utilized as scientific reference in national agenda and policymaking. To join YOUTHLEAD, is both a opportunity and a responsibility. An opportunity for me to learn and relearn from the different strategies and initiatives voiced out by the different youthleaders and and young changemakers across the globe. Also, a responsibility to share expertise(s) and lesson learnt from experiences in the ground in order to draft future directions to individuals of the same advocacy or in the general group. My participation to this organization will be a macro voice for change of my countrymen, who are still the most marginalized among the marginalized group in our society.

In this time of global health crisis, the YouthLead Team and the 2nd cohort of YouthLead Ambassadors are asking you to join the “You(th) #StoptheSpread” Call to Action Campaign, promoting key messages on handwashing, social distancing, and fighting misinformation to help spread awareness among young people about COVID-19 pandemic. You can also share what campaigns/actions your local organization is already taking in your community. Please share your submissions to the YouthLead Covid-19 Call to Action Google Form (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfA-98bHXcIFGR6ep9jcroWZ7pX0wglh7-_vv7F21OcfQGAow/viewform).
