How I want to make an Impact

To gain knowledge, experience, and exposure to issues affecting youth from different social, economic. religious and demographic factors. The opportunity will widen my understanding of how social determinants can affect the quality of life of the youths and craft strategies to address these for a greater impact.

Short biography

Godknows grew up in Harare, Zimbabwe. He is a qualified and experienced public health programmer, strategist, and mental health advocate. He is a competent researcher whose interests lie in the interface of public health and social categorizations, namely gender, wellness, and public health strategies. He has read for a Public Health Promotion Degree and holds a master’s in strategic management. With his enthusiasm for Global Public Health, he has also pursued a Post Graduate Certification in Global Public Health, Epidemiology and Disease Control. He is also a wellness coach and possesses skills in the management of Child Trauma through a Healing Play, a psychiatric concept. In addition to that, he also has sound knowledge in public health promotion, strategy, youth and adolescent health and rights, monitoring and evaluation, non-communicable disease management and prevention through behaviour change modification; social behaviour change communication, and evidence-based advocacy. In his spare time, he does voluntary work with youths in his community, motivational speaking, and highly involved in advocacy dialogues. To date, he has published several health research papers with the most recent one being accepted for publication at the World Congress of Non-Communicable diseases, 2020. He is also an Executive Committee member of the Health Promotion Association of Zimbabwe (HEPAZ) since 2015.

Reply to Message	Greetings Young Leaders ! Young SEA is a team of young hopeful changemakers from Philippines, Indonesia & Malaysia on a mission to create a better place for everyone to live in. The project focuses on SDG 13 Climate Action specifically about tackling the environmental threat of untreated disposable mask waste caused by Covid-19. We have seen that the pandemic caused everyone to use disposable facemasks to protect ourselves but the action to limit its environmental impact has not yet been properly taken action upon, both in developed and developing countries. With this in mind, we opted to organize a series of webinars about tackling this problem and also to empower young people about the many ways we can create a better world in this post-pandemic era. We always stand by the quote, “If you can't do great things, do small things in a great way” by Napoleon Hill and we hope that through this slogan we will always be reminded of the simple ways we can do to achieve our goal— a place where no one is left behind.
