“It’s All Worth It” is a youth-led initiative from municipality of Gjakovë/Đakovica in Kosovo. Based on the Community Asset Mapping (CAM) that youth have conducted it was evident that many youth from rural areas in municipality of Gjakovë/Đakovica are not informed about the opportunities of afterschool activities. Thus, the initiative was designed by the youth to aim raising awareness and informing youth about the importance and opportunities of participating in extracurricular activities.
The initiative will inform over 1000 youth about opportunities of extracurricular activities through campaigns on social networks, fairs, and debates. The youth have developed success stories of five young activists, who by contributing and participating in after-school activities have as well benefited and succeeded in life. Their stories are inspirational and motivational!
Initiative "It’s All Worth It" in Gjakovë/Đakovica is assisted by Up to Youth Activity, that is supported by United States Agency for International Development - USAID. Up to Youth is a five-year activity committed to improving the capacities and enabling the aspirations of youth so that they can contribute to and benefit from more stable, democratic, and prosperous communities.
