“Don’t Start, Stop, Save” is a youth-led initiative from municipality of Viti/na in Kosovo. The initiative aims to inform youth about the risks and health consequences of smoking. Over 1,000 youth in primary and high schools in municipality of Viti/na were informed about the negative consequences of smoking through various activities and informational materials. In cooperation with community Family Healthcare Center and school professors, youth prepared one brochure and two posters as a part of the raising awareness activities against smoking in their own community.
Youth-led initiative "Don’t Start, Stop, Save" in Viti/na is assisted by Up to Youth Activity, that is supported by United States Agency for International Development - USAID. Up to Youth is a five-year activity committed to improving the capacities and enabling the aspirations of youth so that they can contribute to and benefit from more stable, democratic, and prosperous communities.
