The sole aim of this resource is to encourage productive thoughts and conversations around the International Day of Living Together in Peace which is set for May 16th by the UN. 

The resource is designed to furnish policymakers and donors with key insights into strategic and program-worthy factors that can impact the approaches of how young people can be actively involved in peacebuilding efforts.

Audience: Donors and policymakers, youth program designer and youth-centric institutions and organizations involved in providing comprehensive support to youth peacebuilding initiatives.

This resource aims to achieve the following objectives:

  1. Present evidence-based and successful practices in the realm of youth peacebuilding, drawing from experiences in the field.
  2. Deepen the comprehension of donors and policymakers regarding the intricate and interconnected policy and program aspects involved in providing comprehensive support to youth peacebuilding initiatives.
  3. Improve the efficacy of policies and funding strategies employed by bilateral and multilateral donors and agencies that are actively engaged in supporting youth peacebuilding endeavors.
