The “Empowering youth in agriculture to engage in UNFCCC and COP processes” webinar series aims to clarify decision-making processes around climate change and agriculture for young people. Ultimately, it aims to empower youth and build their capacity to influence decision-making related to the UNFCCC and COP.

This webinar series is organized by the FAO Climate Change Knowledge Hub and the Children and Youth constituency of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (YOUNGO) in collaboration with the World Food Forum.

Youth in agriculture at COP27

Date: 22 June 2022, 1400 - 1530 (CEST/Rome)

Description: This webinar will help young people interested in agriculture-related COP processes better understand how to be involved in agriculture at COP. It will also explain the role of Parties, Groups of Parties and Observers; the types of documents in the negotiation process; and how decisions are written.
