Webinar Recording

Are a young leader ready to advocate for a more gender-equitable world, but don’t know where to start? This webinar can help you. We know we will only reach Sustainable Development Goal 5 through meaningful youth participation. Without youth engagement, we run the risk of failing to reach this global development promise and/or making commitments that do not reflect the real needs and priorities of the young people and communities that will be affected by them.
This webinar introduces a cost-effective methodology for conducting on- and offline campaigns that can be used to advocate effectively for Goal 5 by equipping young leaders with the necessary skills and expertise to identify and create action plans that encapsulate the priority issues faced by young people in their communities. The webinar will address how to effectively identify stakeholders and network member champions, map data needs, monitor progress, and undertake evidence-based advocacy to seek accountability.
