Con la colaboración de las Naciones Unidas, los gobiernos de Los Estados Unidos y Guatemala acaban de cumplir un evento dedicado a discutir estrategias de disminuir la violencia sexual y explotación de mujeres. Un punto clave que destacaron los participantes (incluso Sandy Recinos, La secretaria ejecutiva de SVET y oficiales funcionarios de ambos gobiernos) fue la importancia de la actividad de jóvenes para parar la trata humana y la explotación sexual. Más que nunca, es imprescindible que los jóvenes de Guatemala se eduquen y queden vigilante.
