Aim:

To create scalable solutions for critical social challenges and nurture the future leaders of development. The International Innovation Corps (IIC) India Program places teams of diverse young professionals within the Indian government and leading social enterprises.

The Fellows are tasked to work on multi-faceted development projects, each with a discrete scope. As Project Associates, the Fellows work on creating a theory of change, implementing the solution and building internal structures to ensure sustainability. The year begins with a two-week long intensive training at the UChicago Center in Delhi and subsequently each team begins to work under the mentorship of the IIC management and leadership of the partner organization.

Over the course of their fellowship, they apply their creative thinking to make critical development challenges soluble. They collaborate constantly, knowing they are each other’s best resource. They problem-solve tirelessly and they persevere when facing daunting challenges.

Eligibility:

The YLT Fellowship welcomes applications from young professionals with an engineering degree in any field. Fellows are placed with prominent tech policy think tanks working on pressing issues in India. An ideal candidate will be an engineering graduate with a few years of work experience and an interest in technology policy.

For now, this opportunity is only available for Indian nationals. International applicants interested in our work may consider the International Innovation Corps India/ US programs.
