Target Beneficiaries
Today’s youth are the most connected, global and empowered generation to ever exist. They are driven by a strong sense of justice and are aware of its absence in the world they are inheriting. In fledgling democracies such as Myanmar, it's even more important to support the rights of citizens to express their views. SHIFT exists to support the many youth groups who are already actively trying to influence positive change in their countries, but who lack the resources of larger organizations.
Mission and Vision
SHIFT's vision is to create a world in which young people can make positive change happen through all levels of society, from grassroots community action to national policy change. Our mission during this COVID-19 response is to support youth leaders to develop and disseminate vital information and education to youth across three countries through creative campaigning. We want young people to have the knowledge they need to protect themselves from COVID-19 related social issues.
