How YLAI is helping you grow as an entrepreneur?

YLAI is a life changing program for me in many dimensions and help me stay focus and efficient as Entrepreneur. To better explain the impact of YLAI of my Life, let me point by points run the assets YLAI bring to me.

Before YLAI, I was an entrepreneur—for one idea: I was just focusing on the delivery of my Bamboo products, make profit and have positive impact in my community. I was working with the Organization Build HealthInternational (BHI) as a Supervisor Engineer so I didn’t focus on strategic and action plan for my company.

Since I received the Mail that I am a YLAI Fellow and started to follow the course of Entrepreneurship Institute, I became a social Entrepreneur for a lifetime!

I left my position from BHI to better concentrate in our work and develop actions and strategic plans, strengthen and grow BambouFacile Team. YLAI bring to me a confidence that allow all the team stay motivate and focus to a same vision that allow Bambou Facile not only to better innovate but also but to grow.

Before YLAI I was a traditional Entrepreneur that thought only for my Business even the innovations I brought, once I became a YLAI Fellow, I have increased my Leadership and Entrepreneurship skills to broaden my horizon to other topics other to the mine. I become a story teller where I inspire people not only in Haiti but other communities like Dominican Republic, Surinam and Brazil etc… YLAI allow me to become a Leader/model in my community where have a lot of impact to the Haitian Youth Entrepreneur Hub. Since November 2018, I organized an Entrepreurship Area Hour activity every month in Cap Haitian that impower and inspire Young Leaders in the Cap-Haitian community to engage in the Dynamic of mobilization of resources in the community to develop it and make profit. Our audience is increasing every month!

Before YLAI, it was not easy for me to tell story about Bambou Facile even we have Deep action and impact in the Haitian community. During my time in Seattle, I had the opportunity to work on my communication skills to prepare presentation very clear and clean with appropriate text, image and contents. Also, my public speaking skills: As a leader, I had the opportunity to improve my communication skills in Public Speaking with good content and body language. From these skills we accelerate Bambou Facile audience and negotiation with potential Investors or involvers that bring Values to our organizations.

With the YLAI Fellowship, I become an Ambassador for Haiti

With a very strong Global Network I represent well my Country with Pride and elegance. I had the opportunity to have new partners from more 15 countries from the Caribbean that is strength for us. I remember the talk I had with Marianna Leite from Brazil and she decided an article very inspiring.

YLAI MAKE ME THINK GLOBALLY EVEN ACTING LOCALLY!!!!
