I had the opportunity to participate at the The African Green Revolution Forum, 2019 at Accra, Ghana. I have acquired a lot knowledge, insights from presentation, live panel discussion on leveraging digital transformation to drive sustainable food systems in Africa thus growing digital at the agriculture sector. Through the process of creating awareness of the importance engagement of the youth at the agricultural sector, i have gained confidence, i can communicate effectively with one on one or group.
Adding to the above stated,  I have learned to use appropriate communication skills in order to build a rapport with people.I also realized the importance’s of networking, sharing ideas and  findings with different people from different sectors and organisations including the heads of government, altogether to achieve a common goals of growing digital in agriculture. I had the opportunity to attend any session i refer and will like to share a summary on that.
The session was held on 5th September 21019 at the main Auditorium of the Accra international conference center. During the submit several remarks were given by Dr. Agnes kalibata, the president of AGRA, Mr. Strive Masiyiwa, Executive Chairman, Econet and Chairman of AGRA partner group, Mrs. Nane Annan and the others on the importance of growing growing digital in our Agriculture sector as they share stories of how tthe late kofi Ananne championing the AGRF to take the African identity. He ensured  the leadership and broader engagement of African stakeholders in the continent's Agricultural transformation agenda. The African Green Revolution was born with the aim of preventing poverty, creating employment, large production and to increase the growth of African's economic development as well as increase the export contents of Africans.
Also , His presence was missed due to the great works he had done to contribute to goals of substainability to achieve a better future for Africa and the world as a whole. His legacy will continue to remain forever.
During the submit, key speakers such as a system Mrs. Nane Annan and H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo, Presidential, Republic of Ghana as they explored the contour of the contribution growing digital has expanded  within our various communities and various countries in Africa as well. For instance the use of smart phones today has increased in it percentage in Africa. Now with the use of technology farmers can know when there is rains, the size  of their land and the moisture content of some seeds. The use of technological tools have made life easier for smallholder farmers.
During the event to discuss growing digital at the agricultural  sector on the sidelines of the Africa Green Revolution Forum (AGRF) in Accra, Ghana, several heads of state and government including H.E. Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, H.E. Alpha Conde, President of Guinea, H.E.Edouard Nigirente, Prime minister, Republic of Rwanda, and others. The panelists explored the main contribution of digital in increasing productivity, access to seeds and markets in the agricultural sector. They  unanimous  observed most people are unaware of the true importance of agriculture in our communities. It’s more than just to provide food to the total numbers of individuals in a certain country. Agriculture does not only provide our nourishment for our daily intake but also increases our production, revenue and employment as a whole.
I understood growing digital not only at agricultural sector but in other sectors as well is the easiest breakthrough for Africans. To a large extent this boost for large production, youth employment, and create a solid foundation towards  eradicating  poverty in Africa to achieve some of the sustainable development goals.
Lastly, coming to the conference gave me  the only opportunity for me to meet people of higher esteems who have done great works of promoting revolution at the green sectors. Certainly, they sharing their experiences has given  me the enthusiasm to brainstorm to come with ideas to do works that will also promote the engagement of the youth in agriculture  in a more formalized method. For instance creating awareness of Youthlead organisations in my community and in the local chapters as well.
