Meet the YouthLead Ambassadors - Cohort 3

We are excited to share more about the 3rd cohort of YouthLead Ambassadors who graduated in 2021. This cohort was comprised of 21 young changemakers selected from a pool of over 3,000 applicants in more than 100 countries. They were carefully selected to lead, engage, and support various social change and positive youth development activities involving local young changemakers in their communities and globally through the YouthLead platform.

The YouthLead Ambassadors have a proven track record in mobilizing other young changemakers and youth through their activities. The Ambassadors took part in a six-month volunteer program and played a key role in bringing the benefits of YouthLead to national, regional, and local groups of changemakers. They also helped to grow YouthLead’s global reach.

As part of the program, the YouthLead Ambassadors implemented activities to make YouthLead more relevant to changemakers in their networks and communities. They added value to other changemakers’ professional growth and generated youth engagement and peer-to-peer networking.

The YouthLead Peer Advisor program builds on the suggestion of our second YouthLead Ambassador cohort and deepens the opportunity for young changemakers to support their peers. YouthLead Peer Advisors have been selected from the second cohort of YouthLead Ambassadors to share their insights and experience, and will work collaboratively with YouthLead Ambassadors to offer guidance and support to the new Ambassadors.

I believe in togetherness…

I believe in togetherness and looking forward working together with our ambassadors. And am glad Uganda we're well represented by Mr. Zacheaus Kafeero.

And would also love to be on board of Ambassadors. "Nothing for the youth without the youth getting involved."
