La pandemia de COVID-19 ha conmovido al mundo desde lo humano, sanitario, científico, socioeconómico y político.

Presentamos este libro, como un producto de conocimiento innovador de la investigación para el cambio realizada en el marco del Programa Youth Excel. en la cual participaron niñas y jóvenes de entre los 14 y  24 años después de vivir el confinamiento por pandemia del Covid 19. Se ilustran sentimientos, temores, miedos, sueños, talentos y actividades de afrontamiento antes, durante y después del confinamiento en familia. Es el resultado del aprendizaje significativo de los talleres impartidos sobre temas de: emprendimiento, derechos humanos, teatro, música, motivación, habilidades blandas y lengua de señas salvadoreñas.

Se demuestra que si desarrollamos habilidades en las jóvenes, ellas se comprometen con la mejora de sus comunidades y su entorno aprendiendo a practicar la empatía, identificarse con los problemas de su entorno y buscan soluciones; pensar en forma crítica y comunicarse eficazmente, permitiéndoles adaptarse y reinventarse en un mundo cambiante.
