Attend Free Mental Health Counselling and a Webinar to Find Out More
The COVID-19 Pandemic has had a serious impact on everyone. No matter where you come from or who you are, the pandemic has in some way disrupted our lives. This serious disruption has also caused stress, fear, and anxiety. In order to help people deal with these feelings and find ways to ways to cope, UNICEF Office for the Eastern Caribbean Area (ECA), launched a free e-counselling service for individuals living in the Eastern Caribbean Area.
Patricia Ncube, a Psychologist and Counsellor, said about the program "For many, therapy is the first step to understanding oneself and it can be the path towards healing and living a more fulfilling life."
Another participant said, "I was very pleased with the e-counselling process. It was very smooth and welcoming. I was able to get the help I needed. The sessions have been really beneficial. I could see that all hope was not lost, that I should take some time for myself and invest in my emotional health and wellbeing. I got good advice and support. "
Additionally, UNICEF will be hosting a webinar on Thursday 12 November at 12 noon ECT to give more information on e-counselling and other services.
