Being a successful and independent woman starts off by teaching young girls to be confident and help one another. We put self-efficacy at the core of our mission and strive to ignite the power in young girls everywhere. By doing this, we not only create a community of unstoppable girls but also strong women who uplift and encourage one another.

Empowering Women Through Education

Igniting the spark in girls can be seen in many different ways, like encouraging girls to play sports or taking up a hobby that they may be too nervous to try out. One of the ways that many girls have found empowerment is through education. Education, especially at the college level, provides a strong foundation of professional skill-sets that girls can carry with them into their future careers and relationships. Widely accessible education was pivotal for the progression of women in society because it allowed for an expansion of job opportunities and greater representation in the workforce. Due to the increase of educated and powerful women in society, we are able to see that both men and women have the capacity to do great things and that all genders can be equally successful. Possessing the communication and academic skills that come with education helps girls continue to bridge the gap in gender inequality and help them stand up against discrimination. Being educated and having confidence is key against discrimination and when one woman stands against it, she isn’t fighting for just herself but for all women.

Empowering Women’s Voices

We love to shout out and amplify the voices of other women. Uplifting women’s voices allows them to express themselves, develop ideas, and share their perspectives on the world. We love to express ourselves through our voice and our passions and having our voice acknowledged and appreciated by our peers is one of the most rewarding feelings. It gives us a sense of leadership, power, and confidence to help lead others down the right path. We want to teach women not to be afraid to use their voices. We use “Sunny, Cloudy, Rainbow” check-ins that revolve around gaining greater insight into how girls are feeling emotionally and allow them to share with other girls. This exercise not only empowers our young girls’ voices but also allows them to practice speaking their mind as well as being able to know that they are being heard.

Relatable Role Models and Collaboration

Providing encouragement and mentorship gives women a greater chance of reaching their goals and becoming successful. Every person can relate to one another in some way (experiences may be different, but emotions are part of of the shared human experience), which makes it important that we support and lift each other up. Providing feedback and guidance can help other women determine what their next step into the future will look like. If you see other women struggling do not hesitate to help!
