The Article unpacks mental health focusing on depression and suicide which have cause-effect matrimony. Depression used to be a rare condition locally, or we thought so; though conversely at the turn of the millennium we have witnessed a spiraled prevalence at an alarming rate. Another school of thought would
argue that it has always been rampant but was under-diagnosed. The article gives detail of how depression is linked to suicide. The author of the article took it from a community approach and made it understandable by a layman. In this article cause of depression were also highlighted including also the different forms of depression and colloquial names which point out to depression in the community. It also further highlighted possible expertise that can be approached in case one is in need of help.
