What threats does climate change pose to coastal communities?
While climate change poses the most serious threat to coastal areas in the Maldives, awareness of the threat has been insufficiently supported in coastal communities. This manual provides guidance and resources for those working to address this deficiency through participatory community education.
It contains a series of ideas for hands-on learning activities that can help community members to understand what climate change is and how it could affect their livelihoods, as well as a collection of fact sheets that provide straightforward explanations and diagrams of climate change concepts.
