Youth leaders from Somalia and Uganda came together to discuss the last year's challenges and triumphs in a conference hosted by Extremely Together, an initiative of the the Kofi Annan Foundation. The young changemakers of the conference decided on some important messages they'd like the world to know. Specifically, they'd like you to know that: Youth exclusion and securitisation by governments remains a significant problem; Youth inclusion in peace and security matters; Young people need increased support to be more effective in their peacebuilding work; and International connections are integral for youth-led peacebuilding.
