TITLE -Zokutu Needs Water
I took this photograph in Zokutu community — located in Kuje Area Council, one of the six area councils in Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
This cave, about 6 feet below ground level, is the only source of water in the community, serving an all-purpose gap: bathing, laundry, cooking, and drinking — without any form of purification to more than 3,000 people in Zokutu community. With this picture, I told the story of this community to the world and currently raising resources to provide Zokutu with clean water.
