TITLE -Solid Waste
This photo shows the solid waste management problem in Nakuru and how it affected the Lake Nakuru National National Park. The drainage that gets into the park carries plastic bags that pollute the park. This photo was taken on 6th May 2017 during a park clean up exercise by different concerned groups. Highlighting such problems through photography has been important in gaining the necessary support. This photo was taken on a day where I was together with other volunteers on a clean-up exercise at the lake Nakuru National Park. As a resident of Nakuru town I have a responsibility to play to highlight existing problems and such photos lead to the necessary attention and contribute to change.
