TITLE -No To Increment of Electricity Tariff and Military/Police Brutality
Civil society groups, customers and residents of the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) franchise states on a peaceful protest against unlawful electricity tariff increments, estimated billing, over-billing, ineptitude, wickedness, highhandedness, for failing to meet obligations to electricity consumers in Edo and throwing the state into darkness and harassment of citizens by military personnel attached to BEDC since takeover on November, 2013 upon privatization of the power sector.
