TITLE -Nakuru
This photo taken on 17th November 2018 shows what used to be the entrance to the Lake Nakuru National Park. In the recent years, there has been a mysterious rise in water levels that has affected the World Heritage Site. This photo was meant to raise awareness on the situation not only in the lake but in other Rift Valley lakes. This is a situation that has reduced the number of flamingos in the lake and the lake is best known for having flamingos. Informing different stakeholders is important in initiate g research which is crucial in having positive social change. There are different factors affecting the environment and there is need for collective responsibility in addressing them. This photo shows the former entrance submerged in water and dead trees around.
