TITLE -Golden Moment with Pupils after An Awareness
The International Day of Education served a nice opportunity to leave some golden memory in the hearts of pupils of City School, Owerri Municipal, Imo State, Nigeria.
In pursuit of the 4th in the SDGs, we seized this moment to strengthen the ties between the pupils, teachers and parents by reminding the children on the need not to be discouraged in anyway, appreciate the effort of their parents and teachers and also live up to responsibility as they grow up.
The teachers were also encouraged to know that their efforts in ensuring quality education is being appreciated even if it may not be done materially for now. The Children were also taught on how to appreciate their parents and how to do just that when they get home. I and my team also donated to the school library some educational materials that will help to increase the impact of learning among the pupils.
The Children were full of excitement and we are making arrangements with the school administration of the sustainability of our visit as we watch these children grow into the best they can ever be.
