TITLE -Developing Young Conservationist
Building and Developing Future Conservationist at University of Ilorin Secondary School, Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria during the awareness creation of bird conservation as a good indicator of a good environment, the young secondary school student, all of whom have never seen or use binoculars before were show and thought how to use binoculars for the first time ever and with great excitement they were glad to handle and make use of this tools for the first time.
This activities lasted for about five hours, not only that this young secondary school student were thought the benefit of tree, birds, and other wild life in our environment and were educated contrary to their preconceived believe that birds are evil that bring bad omen, they were taught otherwise to know that birds are not evil but are good indicator of a good environment and the need to conserved them.
a Quiz competition was conducted among the senior secondary school student based on conservation education and gifts were given to the first, second and third position
