YouthPreneur Business Summit/Exhibition 2019
On the 29th of November 2019, The Watchmen Trust held the first ever Youth Business Exhibition tagged "Youthpreneur Business Summit/Exhibition", at Purple Heart Hall. The theme of the summit was; Strategic business fundamentals to achieve Economic Objectives in a turbulent environment.
The objective of the Summit was to network youth led organizations, businesses, projects, initiatives in Beitbridge as well as train/mentor youths in different areas of business as discussed during the Summit. Topics covered included: Finance, Investment, Business Ethics, Company Registration/Taxes, How to scale up businesses/projects...
The speakers came from all walks of life and backgrounds. The panel of speakers was made up of Real G Ruwona M.D Zim Yellow Pages, Handsome Mbedzi M.D MacroCell, #Tapiwa_Moyo C.E.O Kamogkleo Imports and Exports, Givemore Ndombonya C.E.O SignTech Africa with Shane Stone and Renah Banda anchoring the program.
The Summit was an eye opener to many young people in business as they posed questions and received insightful responses from the panelists on how to run their businesses. Each exhibitor was given an opportunity to market/pitch their ideas/businesses/services, this created a greater awareness of products and services within our community.
