In August 2020, I deployed his expertise to create a team of passionate development minded youths; I created a Google form and sent out a volunteer recruitment link to various youth based organizations within the grassroots communities in Katsina State. I collaborated with community based groups and civic leaders within communities in and around Katsina State. I recruited community based volunteers who were mostly people who have an advance skill in team building, grassroots mobilization, and fund raising. I then partnered with two youth focused organizations in Katsina State, who gave out free souvenirs. I initiated the program by interrelating with young crop of entrepreneurs and change makers in Katsina State, and I collaborated with them, to raise funds for the program.
I then initiated a social impact community projects and campaign, which empowered 2,000 disabled high school students across community schools across Katsina State, Nigeria gain access to digital, and entrepreneurship skills. I also partnered with MTN Foundation, who provided over 2000 entrepreneurship development training toolkits for empowerment.
Initially, I invited the shortlisted volunteers to three days extensive orientation training program that helped them learned transferable community organizing and campaign skills needed to effectively engage with our target audience.
