Young people in Katsina State Nigeria have been urged to build their competence for them to be able to access global opportunities. Speaking at a training workshop on entrepreneurship and employability skills.
Mr. Ismail Bello said “There are people who are disconnected from global discourse and opportunities because they do not know how to plug themselves into this global discourse and opportunities. He further said “ To win any global opportunity, you must be at the top of your game in the work you do and how you communicate it and It is our hope that young people will take advantage of the opportunities that the global community provides to catapult their career”.
In his opening remarks, the founder of Opportunities Hub, Babangida Ruma said We’re currently working with industries to shape the new generation of competent, global transervy work-force, creating innovation to make industries to new level of productivity, a new generation of thinkers who will re-invent the way the world lives, works and place as people and to re-invent to the future of amazing discovery.
Some transferable skills – the ones that support career mobility and adaptability were also shared with the attendees.
