WordsMaya is an educational technology social enterprise which empowers college students and professionals in India with professional communication skills and soft skills so that they become employable. WordsMaya provides a bouquet of app-based self-paced and trainer-led courses for English language proficiency, communication skills, job interviews preparation, resume building, email writing etc.
WordsMaya has been incubated and seed-funded by India's largest impact fund Villgro with the social enterprise incubator IIM Calcutta Innovation Park. WordsMay is on a mission on empowering 1 lakh learners by 2021. WordsMaya is proudly associated with many universities, educational institutes, companies and NGOs in India to help students and professional. WordsMaya has won several awards and accolades including SmartFifty: 50 startups to transform India.
WordsMaya has empowered 25000+ learners using a proprietary smartphone app with self-learning video courses and sessions with trainers. During the COVID lockdown in India, 15000+ college students took one of the course for free as the regulatory body of higher education in India (AICTE) recommended WordsMaya's course to all the institutes in India.
