As a response to the recent coronavirus pandemic, region-wide lockdowns, and an increased need for food and relief in our marginalized communities, we started Walang Iwanan sa One Cainta (We are One Cainta. No one gets left behind).
In partnership with our local government and key stakeholders, we provide food and relief to at least 1000 people everyday. Since March, we have been working with organizations (corporations, NGOs, civil society groups), partnered with restaurant chains, and managed a General Donor Fund that allows us to procure, repack, and/or obtain relief goods, grocery kits, and packed meals to distribute to our community members door-to-door, everyday.
Beyond food, we likewise work with various organizations and people to support our frontliners with PPEs, isolation tents, relief, and sanitation tents.
