Funded by the US Department of State’s Secretary’s Office of Global Women’s Issues, the project supports S/GWI’s goal to promote the rights and empowerment of women and girls through three closely linked Objectives:
- Objective 1: Young people are more resilient to restrictive gender norms affecting their life choices and opportunities.
- Objective 2: An enabling environment is cultivated in schools or community-based organizations and communities to foster equal collaboration amongst young people.
- Objective 3: A network of participants, stakeholders, and partners at the community and national levels better promote girls’ increased skills and opportunities.
The aim of the proposed project was to introduce to the wider public the women whose stories and achievements have been untold and hidden due to gender inequality. Within the framework of this project, posters were exhibited at the school space. Posters were designed digitally. Under this CAP Project special training for participants was conducted at Kaspi Tech park, where they taught how to create posters and other necessary skills. As a result, 4 different posters have been created and were printed in greater quantities, because the posters were disseminated at the AF among the school students. Moreover, the posters are displayed at the "open space" created under the 2nd Community Action Plan and were sent out to other participating schools of SHE's GREAT!.
