Statistics on suicide according to World Health Organisation (WHO) shows that 800, 000 people die due to suicide every year, which is one person every 40 seconds. In Nigeria, it is estimated that about 20 to 30 percent of Nigerians suffer from mental illnesses implying that Nigeria has about 60 million persons with mental illnesses which depression is one. It is against this background that RIGHT MINDS NETWORK launched an online #ENDDEPRESSION CAMPAIGN about some four months ago, June 23, 2019 to be particular and in furtherance of it deem it necessary to make it physical by organising the maiden edition of the campaign seminar.
