DumishaAfya project is a brainchild project of Egerton University-Ntc that aims at boosting the immunity of Cancer patients, Covid-19, Malnutrition and HIV/ AIDS patients. The project entails production of a Nutritious flour by mixing a reasonable amount of cereals to come up with a final consumable product a flour which is sold to local market, schools and distributed to palliative care and cancer centers. The project is undertaken by Enactus club students thrice per week after classes. The main objective of the project is to ensure Cancerous diseases as a result of low immunity are reduced significantly. To ensure that the project is a success we have undertaken to partner with Egerton University (Food and nutrition department), Palliative Cancer and Care centers and Research and Extension of Egerton University for patenting and protection of other intellectual properties.

WHAT EVIDENCE DO YOU HAVE THAT YOUR PROJECT WORKS?
There has been a high demand from the clients shortly after we launched our product. The Cancer survivors demanded more of our product prompting us to take the project to the University's food and nutrition department for food profiling before we fully release it to the market.
DO YOU HAVE CURRENT USERS OR TESTERS?
Our Curent users include Cancer survivors from Nakuru Hospice palliative Centre, students and few members of public on request.
