The Breaking Barriers Campaign seeks to break the stereotypes, cultural and structural barriers hindering young women’s participation in leadership and also boost their confidence to take up leadership roles. The campaign ambassadors will inspire young ladies to discuss their perspectives on the future of their society, their role in societal development, their perspectives on their current society, democracy and their engagement in leadership and it is an initiative of The Gender Centre for Empowering Development (GenCED) Ghana in partnership with the World Movement for Democracy (WMD).
