Project Ampli-Fire is an initiation of the USYC members of the batch 2018-19, in collaboration with the US Embassy Nepal. AmpliFire is a National Level Public Speaking competition for high school students on critical issues they need to be aware about. It was organized to empower teens of public schools and bring out the the hidden speaking talent among kids of government schools of Nepal. Usually , public school students are not exposed to good platform and better opportunities and they lag behind in several aspets. And hence the project was the need of the time and very much impactful indeed. This project was launched in all five development regions of Nepal.
At first we organized speech competition in 5 major cities of 5 development regions of nepal for public school students. One Boy and One Girl were selected from each region and were awarded. Then the 10 seleted students were mentored and trained for two days in the capital and the final competition was held at last awarding top 3 participants.
