Nearly the rejected ones turn to be essential and great laders of change maker in the community. I was born on 1April,1996. Since birth I was rejected by my father and some people because I was born outside marriage. Living and being born in the poor family which survived on one meal a day was horrendous to me. I grew up with my mother in a ghetto community of Choma - Zambia, at the age of 6 I started selling baked scorns and fried sweet potatoes in the street with the intentions to raise funds for school. After some years I qualified to high school fortunately I enrolled in high school and life became so hard that I never attended lessons regularly because of school fees which where so high and whenever I go to school I was being chased from class. Despite the bad situation I went through I never gave up on education, I believed in my dreams and goals as I told myself I will be a great leader. Sometimes I used to learn through the classroom's window. I almost quited school because of what I was going through, it was a time I wished I had a father and questioned God why I was born in a poor family. Rentals where expensive in the community, this made me to ask for accommodation in a church building and cleaning church toilet in return. The more I grew the more the problems, a friend Emmanuel encouraged me to press on with education and he helped me to sign for my final high school exam in 2015 which I wrote and later obtained a Certificate.
In 2016 I started working a part-time job as a merchandiser in Spar Choma therefore life started changing for good and I shifted into a one roomed house. It was my first time to have three meals in a day. I had no one to sponsor me at college I decided to enroll in some online free tuition colleges and training centers such as; Global Health eLearning Center sponsored by USAID, YALI network, World English Institute, Christian Leaders Institute, Corporate Finance Institute and Finstock Eversity College. I became so passionate to learn a lot of things in life especially on leadership because only education can change the world and it helped to succeed through becoming valuable by impacting many lives in the community.
Youths in our community were indulging themselves in different negative activities which destroyed their destinies and relationships with their families. Our community is well known for sexual abuses, brutal killing, early marriages, early pregnancies, street kids, drugs and alcohol dealers. Being one of the most educated in the community I was so affected with the life of some youths, it made to survey to know the causes of negative activities in the community. The results were majority of youths were orphans and dropped out of school because they where not sponsored. I talked with some few who explained their challenges. With some few leadership skills I acquired, this was the moment I felt to bring change in the community. I started doing charity works, explaining the bad effects of drugs and alcohol, encouraging youths to be educated. I was so motivated by the community to continue my work for it brought change and revival. I created an Organization called Revealing Stars Christian Organization which has impacted the lives of many youths through giving clothes, books to pupils, supporting rejected pregnancies and children, motivating hard working pupils by giving out awards and supporting orphans also training youths on entrepreneurship. I was inspired by how some pupils performed in school and the change positive change which I impacted in the community. I came to understand that every youth in the community has the potential to become a change maker.
