Trust me on this. ― Chuck Palahniuk11 I grew up on the streets of Wakiso, in Uganda. Suffering from a disfiguring skin condition, a condition I got after being immunized in 1990. I was taunted and teased about my appearance, and as you can imagine, I grew up feeling cast aside and pretty worthless. I was fatherlessness, Fatherlessness is the worst crime in my view, it is a crime because it creates the grounds for emergence of future criminals, even though I was extremely intelligent and resourceful however, and though i scraped and struggled to make it happen, I didn’t get an opportunity to settle in school because of fees struggles, so i learned to provide for myself. The more people tortured me, the more I became energetic person who had a never say die attitude toward tackling of human challenges. I refused to give up on myself! I knew that no one was going to help me achieve what I wanted to achieve, I had to accept the fact that I didn’t have any opportunity like other children. I accepted the fact that I was different. I was hurt too much to allow myself to feel loved…or to feel much of anything. I started teaching myself new things. Doing all different kinds of jobs so that I can survive. Through all that, I didn’t allow myself to have this jackpot mentality where so many youths think that everything should work out so fast like the way they think. This jackpot mentality is destroying so many youth’s future and that is why I came up with an idea of starting an investment club where we can save the little we get and invest it so that we can also be counted, change our lives and develop ourselves. Today this is me; TEBAJJWA REMIGIOUS is the overseer of Single Voice Club (S.V.C) from Uganda. REMIGIOUS is a visionary leader, the founder of Single Voice Club, dedicated to empower and improve the quality of life of youth and young people through developing / creating self-sustainable, demand- driven income generating projects, capacity building through life skills training and engaging them in productive activities that benefits their communities. He leads Single Voice Club, An Investment club and over the past ten years, his teaching team has impacted many youths in so many different parts of Uganda and outside Uganda in counties like ;Tanzania, Rwanda , Kenya, Burundi and S. Africa. He is also the president of Single Voice Club, an investment which is dedicated to change and transform so many lives of the youth, young people and our communities. He is young devoted youth, he is also doing information technology as his professional, blogger, photographer and agriculture. He believes that through his work, he will be able to restore hope to so many people.
